Sample writing tasks
- You have just come back from a holiday. Write a recount
of what you saw and did during that time.
- Your friend has invited you to go out with him/her to
the movies. Write an email to him/her in which you
apologise for not accepting the invitation giving reasons
for your decision.
- Write an email to your friend telling him/her what you
did in the first week of the school holidays.
- Write a speech directed to your class mates, in which you highlight the importance of having a hobby and spending free time effectively.
