Sample task 3
As marks have not been allocated to the questions, the sample answers are given as a guide only. In the HSC Examination, there will be a mark next to each question to indicate the scope and depth required in the response.
The author thought that everyone enjoyed the multicultural day.
The bright colours of the various national costumes and the decoration of the food stalls convey a sense of fun. Students enjoy watching the performances. There are a lot of activities taking place at the same time such as selling and buying, eating, chatting and laughing etc. Everyone is smiling and enjoying the day immensely. Someone exclaims “It is really a wonderful day!”
