This is a Part A type question. (4 marks)

You are going to the open day of a university with your friends. Leave your mother a message telling her that. Write approximately 50 characters in Chinese.

The following is taken from the NSW Board of Studies Chinese Beginners 2008 HSC Specimen Examination Package.

You will be marked according to your ability to:

demonstrate relevance of ideas, information or opinion
write text appropriate to context, purpose and audience
sequence and structure information and ideas
demonstrate control of a range of vocabulary and language structures.
