Sample activity 1
As marks have not been allocated to the questions, the sample answers are given as a guide only. In the HSC Examination, there will be a mark next to each question to indicate the scope and depth required in the response.
Question 1
There are a number of alleys and quadrangles and a park where old people practise Tai Qi and a lot of people play chess.
Question 2
Tourists visit Tian’anmen Square because it is the biggest square in the world and a famous tourist attraction in China. They go to take photos and watch the flag raising ceremony early in the morning.
