Education and aspirations: speaking tasks sample answers
Task 1
These questions form the basis of a conversation about your education and your aspirations for the future.
You will be marked according to the following criteria:
- ability to communicate effectively using correct grammatical structures and vocabulary
- ability to communicate confidently, and fluently using correct intonation and pronunciation
- ability to use appropriate expressions
- ability to communicate consistently with relevant information, opinion or comment.
- Talk about the subjects you are studying this year.
- Explain why you like these subjects.
- Say whether you like your school or not and give reasons.
- Speak about your plans for the future.
- Indicate if you are planning to go to university or not and explain why.
- Give your point of view on studying Chinese at high school and indicate the reasons for your view.
