Recreation and leisure: sample writing tasks
Write in Chinese (130-180 characters in length) on the following:
Sample task 1
Write a conversation between two friends discussing a party plan to celebrate the end of the HSC exams.
Sample task 2
You are going to invite a friend to come to watch your school's sports carnival.
Write an e-mail to inform him or her of the date and time, and the activities you will participate in. Indicate that you would like your friend to stay at your place and you are intending to take your friend around town afterwards.
Sample task 3
Write a diary entry describing a recent shopping trip.
Sample task 4
Write a note to a friend apologising for being late to a social function and suggest an activity and a time to meet.
