Introduction
This unit specifies the competency required to work safely on a General Construction
site adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures
for safe participation in the construction industry.
You must complete a WorkCover approved induction course called OH&S
General Induction for Construction work in NSW before you undertake any
work placement. Many aspects dealt with in the induction course relate directly
to the work in each of the following elements.
