Introduction
A newsgroup or internet discussion group is the "bulletin board" of the internet, where messages about a variety of topics are posted, along with responses. To participate in a newsgroup it is necessary to subscribe to any of the thousands of newsgroups available today, and to have a newsgroup software to access and send the messages.
Netscape Messenger is the newsgroup software for Netscape and Outlooknews is the one for Internet Explorer.
