He remembers a calmer more settled life, loved his dog, played Lego with his brothers. His mum was on night shift because she was a nurse so she lived on little sleep. There was a lot of family but rarely saw mum’s side of family because they were spread out all over the country.

He was younger and had less difficulty fitting in and therefore made friends more easily and had no problems communicating/speaking Italian.The move to Italy for his older brother on the other hand was much more difficult because he failed twice at school and had to repeat twice at senior high school. He found studying Dante and learning German was not easy because the level of Italian required was much more demanding and sophisticated.
