Answering extended response questions

 

The NSW Board of Studies published the Glossary of key words Selecting this link will take you to an external site. in 1999 to help provide a common language and consistent meaning for student assessment in Stage 6. The glossary refers to what students are expected to be able to do as described in the HSC syllabus outcomes, performance bands and examination questions.

To assist teachers and students to interpret the key words in relation to examination questions, a number of scaffolds have been developed that can be used as templates when creating responses to extended response questions.

The following activities will assist you to develop an understanding of the Glossary of key words and how they are used in PDHPE.
