This tutorial has been developed based on a range of major textile projects presented for the 2002 HSC. You can select each component of the supporting documentation and view examples of student's work. Consider the way they have presented information and the level of content they have included.

Outcomes

This tutorial addresses aspects of the following syllabus outcomes:

H1.1 The student critically analyses and explains the factors that have contributed to the design and manufacture of the Major Textiles Project.

H2.3 The student effectively manages the design and manufacture of a Major Textiles Project to completion.

H4.2 The student selects and justifies manufacturing techniques, materials and equipment for a specific end-use.

H6.1 The student analyses the influence of historical, cultural and contemporary developments of textiles.
